We are recruiting two Scrutiny and Partnerships Officers to join Knowsley Council’s Scrutiny and Partnerships Team.

You will be part of a hardworking team that works closely with Elected Members, senior officers and strategic partners to support the delivery of an effective scrutiny function and quality partnership governance arrangements.

The ideal candidates will have experience of working in local government with a knowledge of a wide range of areas of local authority activity.

We place a high premium on communication skills and we are looking for people who have experience of building effective working relationships with senior managers and/ or Elected Members, communities and partner organisations. As a Scrutiny and Partnerships Officer you would be expected to provide advice and briefings to Elected members on a range of topic areas.
