“Stronger Communities” is a corporate priority for the Council and partners. The new strategy will be focused on delivering the 2030 Strategy priority of Knowsley being “a place where strong and safe communities can shape their future”.

The newly formed team will be responsible for ensuring delivery of the new strategy across Council departments and the wider community.

The primary role of the Stronger Communities Co-ordinator is to deliver the Stronger Communities strategy in their locality area and across the borough by supporting residents, volunteers, faith and community groups, social enterprises, and community groups to contribute their interest, energy, expertise, and ambitions to deliver efficient, effective and innovative public services.   Each Stronger Communities Coordinator will take responsibility for a locality area, and delivery of specific borough-wide strategic themes.

At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working.  For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part-time.
