This is an exciting opportunity for those starting their career in planning or those wishing to develop their career further in Development Management.
It is an exciting time to be in the planning profession, particularly with the recent publication of the latest National Planning Policy Framework. There is a clear national agenda that sustained economic growth through planning is one of the main routes to improving prosperity and living standards.

We are looking for a motivated individual with good communications skills, who works well within a team and has a flexible approach to join the Development Management Team.
As a career grade Planning Officer, you will manage your own case load of pre applications, planning applications and condition discharge applications. There will be opportunities to shadow more experienced members of the team and continuing professional development is expected.
